All I can detect from the marketing is variable line widths. And....well, I don't know so the marketing is pants, its not telling me what IS ACTUALLY NEW. So I suspect it amounts to very little
Where are the beta guys? Whats actually new?
When I download the trial will I find a lot of historical buges fixed?
The critical Color Picker issue has been fixed that is the most important. Calling CorelDRAW 2023 is for new purchases ONLY. for the rest of us Its a bug fix with a new tool .
I can see from a certain perspective that this is just a bug fix version. If you only use one or two new features there's not much for you.
Out of the 24 features I'll use about half. So I am OK with it as a new version. However the other half that I don't use have been sought after by others, especially the web file formats, the collaboration features and the iOS app. It just doesn't mean much to you and me.
On the other hand the eyedropper in the properties and find replace dockers was something I never used. I did however strongly suggest a fix. The (what's turning out to be) a massive performance boosts is a fix I support in its entirety.
It's a matter of perspective did we get what benifits us. I'm in it for the long haul, so since I'm far more advanced a user and in a more mature position in my profession I see features that suit changing conditions as good for the future of the application.

That can be a very positive result from my point of view. I just need to test it.Does anyone know if the CorelDraw with the Technical Suite (30days trial) is the same as the CorelDraw Graphics Suite (only 15 days trial)?
hywel the issue I had with CD technical is it could not reside on the same machine as other versions of CD.
Thanks for the link the dude does great images, I've book marked his page.
I fell into this after I got cancer in 2021, it took almost a year before I could get into the field with my shooting sports, and I took up capturing images of the birds in my yard. My wife and I love it, so I picked up a lens set and a wildlife tripod and gimbal and now I'm addicted! Heading out with a Nikkor 200-500 f5.6 on a crop sensor in a couple days.
Photo-PAINT 2022 thru 2023 have been working fine for post RAW conversions. It's really for old time photographers, the ones that seriously make an attempt at real photography, (getting it in the camera well), the new light tool, color balance, and smart selection mask and some of the other masking features as well as the vastly improved performance on my desktop was worth the bucks the last couple upgrades.
No problem installing the Technical Suite but I only have CorelDraw X5 installed at the moment still setting my new PC up. Just going through my logged bug list from the last full Beta I was involved with. Not a good result. A bug (BUG-1334) that reliably crashed Draw then (and it was reported then as a legacy bug from 2017!) still does.....And the same bug crashes Designer too.. FFS. And this is on a new computer in Win 11. (so Dual Xeon had F.A. to do with it David )Clone bugs still present. Can't see me upgrading TBH.
Draw really did get more in a performance boost fix than anything but I bet if we were 23 years old we might think differently.
That eyedropper thing all the way back to 2017 and maybe farther has to be embarrassing.
