What is the problem if I can not grab objects excactly in the center?
The guy in this videohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcMLEatZGeY&ab_channel=DougGreenis doing this a few times. Grabing an object in the middle and place it somewhere else.
If I try this I only get the arrow cross, but not the symbol which tells me that it snapped to the center - see screenshot:
And yes, all Allignment Modes in the CorelDraw Settings are enabled - see sceenshot:
No idea what could be wrong. If I move the cursor near the center of a selected object, the center point changes and I get a "center" label, just as expected.
It's not a great deal of help to you, but I can confirm this is working properly for me. I only need to have Snap to Object enabled for it to work. This seems to be down to your specific system, though very odd behaviour.
Problem found!CorelDRAW shows this buggy behavior when Windows' display scaling is not set to 100%.
If you set the scaling (see windows display settings) to
I hope this gets accepted as bug at Corel. Nowadays hi-res displays are seldom used with scaling below 150%. In my case it is 200% as I got a display with 2880 x 1800 on 14".
Just to ensure anyone knows what setting I mean, here an example image:
Good find. I'll se if I can recreate the issue and report to Corel, when I get the time.
Reported.Let's hope they can fix it, some time in the future.
