unfortunately Cd keeps crashing when I try to manipulate bitmaps via the "adjust" menue. Sometimes its on the first small "adjustment" sometimes it lets me do 2 or 3 moves and than crashes. I can open the adjustment menue ie "tone curve", as soon as I touch the curve, CD completely folds.
Anybody else out there with that problem? Two computer, windows 11, same problem. Any picture.
What kind of computers? Specifications please.
that's enough or you need more info?
What is your video memory?
Thats a very high end card David, I think the minimum it came with was 12Gb, more likely 16Gb.
I looked up the model number at NVidias web site and it showed 4 GB, I don't know why. Lower in the string he posted a capture from his system and I could then see not only does it have 16GB but also does something that in the past has been very problematic in some configurations. It shares and uses system memory. However I know Intel graphics cards with shared memory that perform ok.
There's a NVidia RTX 4080 listed by another user that I'd bet dollars to Navy beans that the problem is that it's a high end gaming card and maybe doesn't have a studio driver. Over the years nearly 100% of the time high power gaming cards from NVidia and AMD fail with CorelDRAW.
I don't know the configuration of the memory of the RTX 4080 only that it's looking problematic. I would try a studio driver if it's available.
It poses a record keeping issue for me as I'm tracking what appears to be problematic configurations for my research on a replacement system for my Windows 10 Pro unit next year.
All Nvidia RTX cards have studio drivers available.
I know mine does but it has been reported on this for at least twice that some don't. Maybe it's because the cards weren't gaming cards.
installed the studio driver and also disabled all additional screens, no difference.
