Is there a way to close/delete my coreldraw.com account?
Once you have posted messages, we will not delete previous postings. What the admins can do is lock your account so that it can no longer be used going forward.

Agreed -- I have posted that elsewhere.
Only the originator of the opening post should be able to mark a post as an answer. Others should only be able to "suggest" an answer.
When the OP marks a post as an answer, they should be asked to confirm that the post fully answers their original question because it is fairly unlikely that they will get any further answers once there is a reply is marked as an answer.
When another poster suggests an answer, they should be asked to confirm that the answer is a full answer to the opening post and not to a tacked-on question.

I'm not sure about that one. We've just suggested that an answer to anything other than the opening post is not an answer to the thread. Therefore there is no requirement to see any other post in order to determine whether an "answer" is a full and complete answer to that opening post.
In my opinion, anybody who sees an "answer" that is not an answer to the question in the opening post can and should mark the question as "not an answer". The grey area is if the "answer" substantially contributes to a solution but is not fully complete. In that case, I'd feel a bit harsh marking it as "not" an answer but equally the reply cannot remain marked as "the answer" because with the current presentation it probably means that nobody else will attempt to finish the answer.
