Presently own a perpetual license for Adobe Creative Suite 6 Master Collection. Will not be subscribing to Adobe Creative Cloud. Looking for links to what Corel might offer.
Thanks.
I just tried it in CorelDRAW, and being able to rotate guides is a very nice feature indeed. It's the type of pleasant surprise I hope to find more of. Should these rotatable guides also work the same in Photo-Paint? I can't seem to make it happen in Photo-Paint.

Me again,
While using Photo-Paint write a text or a letter or just about anythig you can select with the pick tool.
Double & tripple etc and click the object with the pick tool - it will open up several features on how you can rotate, skew, transform and using it on Text/fonts, will make it look as it has a perspective.
Also in both CorelDRAW and Photo-Paint, if you look at an object in rotate state, you will notice the circle in the middle. Select that circle and place it where you like, and THAT is your rotation angle.
Thanks, Clip;
I'm a retired guy myself, military.
Thanks to all who commented on my thread.
August cut off date for Corel upgrade is a bit short-sighted ,i think. Maybe Corel believes they will garner a lot of hot-bloodied disgruntled customers just by the offer. Corel ought to extend the offer through first quarter 1914. . . . with inducements.
So, I think.
Make that, first quarter . . . 2014.
Offer is too short and pressures Adobe users who won't be pressured.
Do you doubt, long time Adobe customers are looking for alternatives?
August . . . just might not be enough time.
