I've seen you say that before.  Do you have a link or resource you can point to where I can read more about it?  I've done some experimenting but really I'm just beginning to dig into using Curves and it's mostly trial & error at this point.

Hi Andy,
1. If you are just beginning, I would recommend a book or two rather
than tutorials. Tutorials are hard to swallow unless you are already up to
speed on the basics.
2. For general purpose work, I recommend the two books by Katrin
Eismann. They are worth their weight in gold.
3. For the Lab color mode, the book by Dan Margulis is excellent.
.. All three books have PhotoShop in the title. Just ignore it.
It's there to sell books. Every word applies to Corel PhotoPaint as well.
