Processor Intel Xeon W3670 3.2 GHz
12 gig ram memory
64 bit windows 10
i read that CD 2017 is optimized for windows 10 but i have found there are some pretty major lags. Especially notable is the resizing of objects: Example: choose two objects and hold down the shift key to keep the sizing proportional -- the redraw is so slow that you cannot practically see how large or small the results will be unless you wait 5 seconds or more. Of course, it is worse if you have 25 objects selected.
i include my computer info above realizing that my machine is about 4 years old and that may be a factor.
Thoughts?

I know of several people with performance issues with Xenon processors and many people with performance issues with on board video chips.
Problem still exists with recent Dell XPS and 4Gig Nvidia Graphics Card
XPS is desktop...16g ram and stand alone 4G Nvidia card...
Can't reproduce now that I have been monkeying around with the settings even if I turn it back...will monitor...
Cool, is Windows 10 fully updated?
Pretty hard now to stop Win 10 from updating automatically...pretty sure it is...
It is faster with Legacy Nodes turned on...I don't like how the new settings anti-alias the nodes, lines and marquee boxes...thanks
Windows 10 updates can be controlled but I get everyone. I'm not a fan of the new nodes.
