I have for my C: drive an SSD drive which does not provide an abundant of storage, so I try to keep garbage to a minimum. I was looking at C:/users/me/AjppData/Roaming/Corel/Messages.
This directory contains nearly 4 Megabyte of data in the form of various messages.
Can I delete these files (without damaging my installation)?
Thanks
Jon
Yes, you can delete it without issues to your software. I found the instructions in Corel's knowledge base. What they fail to tell you about that is that it will come back! I found a solution to that too, and I see no ads now. Just trying to remember where I found it.

Patti, are you thinking of the checkbox for "Show product offers from Corel" under Options>Global? Or is there some other magic to be invoked somewhere else?
No, I'm talking about the user Appdata folder. C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Corel
In the above, there is a folder called Messages. You can delete this to keep from getting ads and pop up messages in the system tray, and it works for awhile....but since these "messages" are downloaded in the background, the folder is recreated.
I've checked all options to quell the ads in both CDGS and PaintShop Pro, but the pop-ups continued. Drives me nuts!!!!

Hello,
I found my result at:
C:\Users\Jeff\AppData\Roaming\Corel\Messages
and deleted them. Almost 10,000 files.
