Hi all,
I have created an .eps figure in MATLAB that contains text (labels, title, legend etc.). I would like to import it to CorelDraw such that the text will be editable.
Disclaimer: I think that the .eps file is not corrupted, since it easily opens with Adobe Illustrator, with fully editable text:
When I try to import the file into CorelDraw ( using the 'Import as Text'), the text shown as Gibberish:
which I workaround by changing the whole figure font to Arial or Calibri. But then the negative numbers are flipped with the minus sign, and the text is highlighted with green when selected. As a result it responds inconsistently to changes (similar to left-to-right issues).
Here is the test.eps file, if any of you would like to try and reproduce the error:

What I tried (and failed :\ ):
I prefer working in CorelDRAW instead of AI, so any help would be appreciated.
Tried open eps file on CD X5 and it worked (sorry I havn´t 2017 installed)
Zipped cdr file (ver. X5) attached.
Do you have installed Ghostscript? (Part of CorelDraw installation)
test.zip
Works here too (X7). What eps settings are available with MATLAB on export/save as?
Thank you very much, your .cdr file is exactly what I am struggling to produce...
I have Ghostscript 9.22 installed. Given your result, I guess the issue is with some bad font mapping on my PC.
I'll continue to dig in, although I'm a bit clueless...
