I want to change the color of the DROP SHADOW itself--NOT the red box that I want to but the Drop Shadow behind... I want to have a RED Drop Shadow behind the red box, but when I double-click on the default black box that is used to position the Drop Shadow, nothing happens. In previous versions, a color palette would automatically appear and a new color could be selected. This no longer seems to happen in 2017... Is the problem with MY version of the software which is "buggy" or is this a technological code glitch that EVERYONE is experiencing in CorelDraw 2017? Thanks! Jerry

Check if it could be relative to your workspace, using a different workspace (save or export your workspace before, in order to maintain your customizations)
