Hi all,
My copy/paste operations take several seconds. I'm copying very simple objects, lines, rectangles, etc. but regardless of the size of the object, a copy/paste operation takes 3-5 seconds. It's annoying. What the heck can Corel do for such a long time?? Is there a switch to turn off something?
Hi
I know how it is annoying to wait to cut/copy & paste for small objects. Why don't you try using other methods like
1. Pressing '+' on the NumPad while dragging an object
2. Left mouse dragging and Pressing right mouse button before releasing the left mouse button
3. 'CTRL + D' for duplicating the selected object.

Anand, thanks for the input. Actually I'm using the shortcuts you mentioned but they are not working with multiple pages/multiple documents. Yes, I can drag the object from one page to another or one document to another but I cand place at the exactly same position. Eg. I want to duplicate a frame on a second page at the same position. Drag-and-drop does not help here, nor snapping turned on because on the second page I have no object to snap to.
Or the + key and move to the paste board.
The other option is to use a clipboard manager. You can turn off some of the clipboard formats. I haven't timed this but you can.
FREE -- http://ditto-cp.sourceforge.net (there are ways to make it do anything to clipboard if you use it I'll fill you in.)

Clipmate I thought was great. But being mean I'm back to using ditto which is a tad retarded.
Ok, try this one, 1st of all change u r nudge offset to greater than u r document size, select the object tap the left or right arrow keys in keyboard go to the next page select the object again tap the arrow keys again to get the object on the same position
