Ok, im confused....
I have my colour management set to professional output..and everything was working great...then the other day...all the colours changed..now all the colours look like extreme rgb variants....ie blue=very bright blue..same as red, etc etc.
no matter what i change the cdolour manafgement settings too, it stays the same....
i even resaet my workspace, still no change....and its on both of my monitors....what happened...its very annoying designing for cmyk when everything looks like extreme rgb:)

ya, im using the same exact settings as i was using before...default cmyk colour palette...and for professional output under colour management

ok, ive tried restting my workspace, etc.b ut still get the overly bright colours...even if i change the colour management settings, nothing happens...before i could see what was happening....
maybe i should try reinstalling ??

Also see if your CM setting have map spot colors to cmyk gamut checked. do this by opening the main CM dialog and double click the monitor icon.
