I export direct to SWF and also GIF and JPG from DRAW without problems. I don't use the web image optimizer at all. I just select my elements and press CTRL+E, choose the format and the parameters. the parameters are what usually trips people up. They all have a purpose...
DPI means nothing for web use, so don't touch that value in the export dialog. Pixel dimensions are what matters. For ex:
I create some stuff in Draw. I know I want it to be 650 PX tall. so I choose that in export dialog, and get something 650 tall! :-)
What are some specific problems you have?
Thanks for the reply Jeff! we'll i'v been using corel for about 11 years now but ya new to doing websites and i duno if you've heard of Advanced Artist but i did all their training and found lots of cool tips and such in their and found there web training for corel to be good but ya I have 2 sites i'm done up so far and i'm just about done another one in corel but i don't want to start exporting it till i know how to export it well. my current 2 sites are www.iconiumgraphics.com and www.iamthirsty.ca and if you go to those sites you might see what i'm talking about with what looks to be low res pixles... maybe it's just me ... but sites built with photoshop have the lines sooooo crisp and i know its because its a pixle based program and corel and illustrator are vector but i'm just trying to get picky i guess and see how sharp i can make the conversion from vector to pixle the best.
