printing banners and other problems

Hi,

trying to print a banner (41" x  98") with Designjet Hp3500 Corel X4 start spooling but there is no job in the printer queue. Sometimes printer starts printing and finished after 55".

Are there any limitations of the printable area ore limitations of the amount of pixels Corel is able to handle?

Creating a pdf and print with adobe acrobat, the dimensions of  print are about 5% smaller, creating a jpg and print from Photoshop the dimensions are about 5% greater. Is this a problem from Corel or from Adobe?

I printed 2 different 240" x 50" banners within last 2 weeks, no problems. Yes, 20 feet long!!!

This is on system with 1.5 GB of RAM, windows 2000.

I export as EPS from Draw and import into Versaworks.

Why do you need anything Adobe to print? Reader not needed, nor photoshop. Coreldraw and your rip software, that's all.

I flatten certain part of artwork in sensible way, and I prefer all bitmaps and shapes in CMYK color model.

What printing language you use? PCL or Postscript? I would only use Postscript.
