Hello,
I am new to CorelDraw, but not to Drawing programs.
What I did:
I converted some 72pt text to curves. I created a 2mm borderless dot and added it to my Spraylist Library. I applied the Artistic Media Tool Spray to the curves and adjusted the distance between the dots to get the best visual result.
Problem:
I need to totally break up the resulting design, so I can change the location of some of the dots since they overlap. I would also like to change the color of some of the dots. I can't seem to find a way to break this up into the individual dots.
I would also like to know if there is a way to get single line of dots. Everything I try, gets a double line.
Please advise......and I thank you.

Hi
You must be looking out for this one Doc.Its the Edit menu.
This really didn't help since I can't see what you posted.
I figured out on my own that I can break apart the Artistic Media and then convert the resulting dots to curves and then ungroup them. That will finally allow me to adjust individual dots.
I still can't figure out how to get only single line of dots instead of a double line.
Thanks.
Do you have two dots in the sprayer list that you have customised/created ? If that is the case then you may need to edit the spray list. It would be easier for me to understand your issue if you could post your file or a screenshot here.

Doc,
Did you at some point convert your line to an object? If you did, this might explain why you are getting two lines of dots when you apply your Artistic Media dot. If your line is an object then the dots will follow its outline on both sides of the shape, making two rows. In other words...be sure to apply the Artistic Media dot to an outline, not an object.

I typed some text at 72pts. I then converted the text to curves. The next step was to appiy the Artistic Media dot. I suppose I could place an outline on it, separate the outline and then delete the text.
I'll do some experimenting.
Thanks
