Does anyone know how people generate these dots as vectors from an image in CD? I have no idea, but wouldn't mind knowing.
First: scan the image using best resolution. It is recomendable to transform in Grayscale and make a good definition of contrast.
Open CorelDRAW and import the image. Select the image (pick tool) and click on BITMAP > OUTLINE TRACE > DETAILED LOGO...
This opens CorelTRACE to convert your bitmap into vector. Adjuste settings as you wish.
Close CorelTRACE. You´ll be back automatically to CorelDRAW. Your new vector will be placed over the original bitmap.
The operation is simple (read HELP <F1> for details).
I think I asked this wrong...I want to take any random image into CorelDraw, and have it make the dots as vectors to look somewhat like the image I posted above of the airplane.
Maybe it's not possible in CD?
Thank you for the help Silvio.
