I am not able to open my Coreldraw X4 for some reason. As soon as I click on the icon the CorelDraw box comes up as normal, then a box pops up saying that the "program CorelDraw X4 has stopped working", and shuts down. I have tried opening up other programs from the graphic suite and they open fine. Corel Paint.....Corel Capture.....etc. Everything opens fine except for the Coreldraw. I have been using Corel for several years with my business, and I have had this X4 installed for probably a year or two. Not sure what has changed to cause this. Has me stumped. Any suggestions?
Hello Digital; Try Holding down the F8 key then starting CorelDraw, that will reset the program and the work space to a factory fresh install.

Thanks George. I tried that last night, but it still gave me the error message.
OOOOOOKKKKKKK Try putting the DVD in and at the install screen do a Repair. ( If you have installed anything lately it may have over rote something Corel needs. )?
Thanks George. Okay your answer spurs the second question that I have. I bought my package from Corel online, and downloaded it as an upgrade from Corel 12 (which I do have the DVDs for). So how do you do that if you do not have the DVDs?
Well I think I would call Corel and talk to one of the agents, I did the same thing with WinZip, but I loaded the install EXE. on a DVD and was able to use that, the install screen opens when clicked ( WinZip is a Corel product and they may work the same .)( I have ALL WAYS said get the box, but I didn't take my own advice that time.)
