I want to be able to paste in a select location. Right now when i copy from one file to another it pastes in the exact location it was copied from. I want to be able to post in an area i click on.is there a way to do this?
You can use macro
http://macromonster.com/index.php?mod=descr&id_desc=2&keyword=pasteat
http://www.gdgmacros.com/results.php?keywords=paste
or
left click and on the object to be copied, move object (left button still pressed) and then right click (then you see small „+“ sign), move in to required position and then release left button (also works between tiled windows-opened files)

Copy file to C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4\Draw\GMS
or for X7 C:\Program Files\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4\Draw\GMS.
Restart Corel.
With new page in view go to tools/cutomization/commands under edit highlight "paste" then go to the Chortcut Keys tab and delete the shortcut Cntrl+V
Now under the macros drop down highlight PasteAtClick2 and in the block for Shortcut Assignment hit cntrlv
You've now assign the macro to the past function.
From now on when you copy something then paste you'll get a cursor to click. You open whatever file or page you want hit paste and you'll see the cursor.
