Single Line Font?

does anyone know if there is a way to convert a font to single line? I have tried giving a font no fill, then black outline but then its a "double line" and all I want is a single line right down the center of the letters that I can change to hairline

any ideas?

  • Scott,

CorelDRAW does not support true single line fonts and there is no way to
"convert" a font to single line unless you want to hand draw the lines for
    each character yourself.

There are ten fonts supplied with CorelDRAW X4 that are as close to a true
single line font as you can get. By definition, a PostScript or TrueType or
OpenType font must be "fillable" and thus have a double line. The "single
line" fonts included with CorelDRAW X4 are fillable but the lines are so
close to each other that they appear to be single line. For engraving
directly from CorelDRAW, this is as close as you can get.
    • after a few mins on google, I found 11 single line fonts that installed directly into Corel X4 and work perfectly. I even went back and tried it on my older versions and it worked... but Im still limited to only those few fonts, thought be cool if I could just "convert" all fonts with something like inside contour or other way, but Im having a hard time figuring out how.
