Once you open a new file CDRAW the default zoom shows you the page, but as I usually work outside of it it'd be much more practical for me to get all the objects centered in view without having to click F4. I sometimes have to open many old files at a time in search for a previous design and clicking F4 through all of them gets tedious and takes longer than expected. Recently I''ve been saving new files with all objects centered to the page, and the page made big enough to fit them all, but with old files this 'trick' is useless.
Is this possible?
It it isn't, is there some other trick that would do the job?
Thanks!
If you are using a version of CorelDRAW that supports VBA, then I think that you might accomplish that by putting this code in GlobalMacros -> ThisMacroStorage:
Private Sub GlobalMacroStorage_DocumentOpen(ByVal Doc As Document, ByVal FileName As String) ActiveWindow.ActiveView.ToFitAllObjectsEnd Sub
I always feel guilty when bumping old threads, but I must comment on this.
Fantastic! Not only do I not need to see the print area (page), every file I create and complete or revisit to modify must have a blank print area - nothing to see here. Thats because all of the content is contained below that area as "panels" to be moved up to the print area when its time to do so. When I open a file, I need the view to fit all. And now it does. Thanks.
