For the life of me I can't remember how to turn off the thumbnail previews, I forgot to uncheck it during the install. Anyone else remember?
Hi Craig,
I'm a bit confused. Are you referring to the image preview when you are importing a file in Draw/Paint? If so, all you need to do is un-check the box near the preview window. If thats not what your referring to, I'm not sure what you are asking then. Hope that helps!
maybe this will help. see attached image:
I guess I could have been a little more clear. If you save a CD file to your desktop, and you are looking at your desktop I am getting a thumbnail preview, but would like to just see the draw icon instead. The thumbnail's are so small they are usless.
Oh, ok. That's a different story. I don't have any idea how to change that. Sorry
Go through the add/remove programs and re-install it: you should have the option to un-tic the thumbnail viewer from here.
I believe that there is an option in Windows to disable the use of thumbnails somewhere in the Windows control panel. Where exactly will depend on the version of Windows you use.

I look at that this morning, but did ot see anything to un check. Maybe not enough coffee!
