I'm running Vista-64 Business. I'm upgrading from CD11. In CD11 when I went to print I could select fit to page in print preview, and it would size it up or down accordingly in the preview window to print in the correct dimensions. Now on most, not all, when I select this it scales it as if there is other objects than the ones that were created. I import most of my files, does not happen when I create from scratch. I've tried deleting any extra layers, put everything on one layer, zooming out to make sure I'm not missing anything, select the whole area when I'm zoomed out, and there is nothing there. This gets frustarating, because in my work I usually print two different sizes of artwork with the same proportions. Now I have to go out and physically change every time I switch printers.
Maybe there are other elemnts that are invisible, press Ctrl+A and then F4 and see if your bounding box is larger that the visible objects. Go to wireframe and check to see if there are no more elements.
Yup, have tried all of this. It's the weirdest thing...there is nothing hidden or locked or anything.
Ding, Ding, Ding #5 is the correct answer! We have a templates that have SerpentineDBol and Americana XBd BT that the bounding box on the "1" is larger than the actual visible text. When I convert to curves...it fixes the issue. This a pain in the neck to do every time...so I will just deal. It did not do this in CD11. Thanks Ahmad for helping figure that out!
You're welcome. Thanks for your feedback.
