I just upgraded to X5 and now suddenly I am having difficulty printing to my dell 3110cn laser printer. I get the error, "Unable to access printer driver. Try removing and reinstalling this printer driver". If I click OK I get the error a couple of more times followed by "Internal application error." Then Corel Draw crashes. My PC is running Windows 7 64 bit.
I have tried re-installing the printer driver with the latest from dell and uninstalling and re-installing corel draw, but nothing has worked. I am about ready to go back to X4.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
I'm having this problem too!
I am having this issue as well. I had it with X4 and now X5. I print to several high end devices but I only get the problem on one of them. Its a Xerox Docucolour 6075II. I think the issue is related to old drivers - Drivers that suit Win 7 64bit havent been released for this device by Xerox.
It doesnt always happen. I find its worse on SRA3 or odd sized stuff.
These days I get the files print ready, convert to pdf and print from Acrobat without any issues.
Best of luck with this gawdawful issue.
I have the exact same problem with a networked Dell color laser printer.
I have Switched to Corel X6 which does not have the problem and always prints fine.
It was driving me crazy.
As it works with X6 I believe it is an X5 problem not a printer driver problem.
