Copy - Paste macro

Hi!

I have an issue but I don't know how tough it is.

I have a bunch of different elements in my worksheet. Let s say some circles, triangles ... I would like to make a macro that would copy - paste itself every time I grab the element and drag it away. So I don't have to press ctrl+c, ctrl+v every time I want to make a move.

How hard is it to solve this problem. I am a beginer at making macros.

Regards,

bost

  • Maybe you don't need a macro for that. If you select the object and press the + key on the numeric keyboard before moving it, you will get a second copy of the object in the same place. When you drag, only one copy moves the other stays where it was.

A second trick (not sure if it works in X5) is to drag the object without releasing the mouse, and press the space bar wherever you want to make a copy of it.
