Files previously batch processed using X3 and X4 cannot be batch-opened i X5. These are ordinary greyscale JPGs of moderate size (3 MP). Selecting several files in a "File - Open " operation also produces error message. When using X3 and X4 on the same files, no errors occur. Any suggestions?
I can't see what is your problem. Do you mean that when you process the original files in X3 and X4 you don't have problems and same files and method in X5 present problem? Could you explain the process that you are following?
I follow the same procedure as Jeff Harrison below (and I get the same error message):
"Batch process ..." error reporting:
Start PP
File - Batch process ...
Click "Add File" button
>> Then the screen flickers ("shakes"); stops flickering after one to two seconds
(then I Select a folder)
Then I select several files (e.g. 5 small JPG files), and click "Open"
Immediately I get the error message: "4 image(s) failed to load. Some formats are not supported for batch processing"
I get this error message even if all selected files are of the same format (JPG) from the same source (a digital camera) (the same error if I select TIFF or even CPT files) The *one* (of the selected five) file is actually now in the "List of files to batch process".
(If I repeat this, one more file is in the list, then again, and again, so if I go through this 50 times, I will have the wanted 50 files in the list).
If I select a script, it works fine and the files in the list are processed and saved in a selected folder. So batch processing is OK, the problem is to select and populate the list with files in one go.
