I start Photo Paint X5 and select open file. I want to open existing cpt files, but there is no cpt listed in the file formats. I know I have opened them before. Am I missing something. Thanks in advance for help.

I am sure you must be missing something
CPT is the native file format of Photo-Paint. There is no way it cannot be opened in Photo-Paint.
Make sure if in the file type box either "All file formats" or "CPT" is selected as shown in attachment.
Thanks. I found my problem. DOH. The list is longer than will show in the window and I didn't notice the scroll bar on the side. Now that I moved it up, everything is there. Thanks again.
Hello ssswilson; What I have done is make a dir. for "CDR" "CPT" and so on and save the files in there proper dir. But for my clients I made a dir. "CLIENTS" and then make dir. "A - Z" and make a dir. in the proper letter with the Co. name and save all of the files there. And if you use a data base you can set up the clients and have it open there dir. then clicking on the "cdr" file will open it in Corel.
Something that works for me to keep files together and open them fast.
