I am editing a hundred or soccer photos for my daughter's team. Many of these photos are taken at awkward angles and need straightening. I am occasionally getting crashes while trying to straighten using the "Straighten Image" tool. It seems to happen most often when there is more than 2 degrees needed, or when I slide the tool one way and then the other. Anyone else have this problem?

Hello CindyVS; It may be a memory problem. How is the computer set up, and the memory in Corel?
George
I have Windows Vista Home Premium. AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor. 2 GB RAM.
I don't know anything about setting up memory in Corel.

Just tried the repair. Opened just one image, tried to rotate it 4 degrees in the straighten image dialog, crash.
I have an NVIDIA GeForce 6150 Le
I too get a crash every time I try to use Straighten Image in PP X5. It works fine in PP X4 (with multiple images open too!). I have NVIDIA GeForce GT 320M w/Adapter RAM, 1.00 GB.
Computer specs:
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional System Type x64-based PC Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU Q 720 @ 1.60GHz

Just tried F8, same problem.
Hunter said: I have no probs using the Straighten Image tool (Win7pro, 64bit, 6GB RAM, video card is a lower end ATI) Are you *sure* it's an "X5" issue and not a *profile* issue? Have you done and F8 to reset your profile to its defaults and tried again?
I just tried the F8 reset. Still crashes on Straighten Image.
Hmmm. The only thing that stands out is the fact that of the three who have mentioned their GPU, the two that are having problems are using NVIDIA GeForce Cards. To small of a sample to call it conclusive but.....
...more input is needed.
I do not have X5. Just making an observation.
