When I click on Edit Bitmap in CorelDraw, PhotoPaint opens in a minimized size which means I have to click the maximize button each time, I want it to open to fit my screen completely. I have looked through Options and cannot find anything to select. Any suggestions?
Open photopaint from the command line. Maximise it. Close it.
Does photopaint now start maximised ?
When opened from the command line, it opens maximized. When opening from CorelDraw it doesn't open maximized. Same when right-clicking an image from a folder and "Open with" Corel Photo-Paint. It opens an inch-tall full width window, then needs to be maximized and the window is tiled the same way within Photo-Paint, and needs to be maximized also.
Thank you for the suggestion tho.
Does it at least remember the actual size you last set for a minimised window ?
I've not had the problem in photopaint but I do recall another program that kept on starting minimised for no obvious reason. The quick answer was to enlarge the minimised window to about 5mm smaller than the screen size, and close it. Thereafter even though it started in minimised mode, the minimised size was so close to the full screen size that it did not matter.
I tried that also, it seems that every time it opens, it opens a shorter window, by about 100 pixels from the bottom. So after opening it multiple times, it becomes just a top bar. And from "Edit Bitmap" in Corel, it just doesn't want to open maximized.
I have this problem on X6 - has anyone found solution?
