Hello Corel users :)
Having a problem with a document i created that contains instructions how to use one of our customers application, the document has an index that points to different pages but also a few urls that point to servers or into jboss application servers(long url) when i save the cdr file and export to pdf the links are not always right, the index pointing to top of page 5 now points to a https url and one of the https urls can point to top of page ...
This is rather frustrating since a simple edit requires me to verify all the links, for instance a url that points to a customer internal wiki page is correct in the cdr file but wrong in the pdf.
I have tried different settings for the pdf export but i haven't seen any difference.
I have noticed that links are changed even when i just save the cdr file and reopen it later, not all but some, seems rather random which ones.
Running windows 7 64 bit 4 gig ram, corel draw x5 is updated with sp3, the cdr file contains 29 pages at this point.

Hi Adrian
Yes i have that bar enabled, makes it easier to see what a link points to, could it be the cause you think?
Will look into removing all but a certain page in the morning 01:50am right now and working, so much fun, would prefer sleepingbut can't have it all i guess.
CDGSX4 : Select the objects from a page and click File > Save As ........ Selected Only must be checked to save the selected objects in a new file.
CDGSX5 : There's a hidden tool in X5. Not found on the on screen menus. You may have to customize and pull the button for that. Goto Tools > Options > Customization > Commands .......... Find 'New from Selection' and drag the command out of the dialog to get the button. Now you can select any objects and click the button to get all the selected objects placed in a new file.
BTW Same way like X4, you can 'save as' the selected objects in X5 also.

Nice tip thanks Anand.
Here is a cdr file with my index page, and i guess it is obvious that i am not a professional but the document has been a lifesaver at times.
In this file that was correct when i saved it (in the original document) you can see that some of the links does not point towhere there supposed to.
Just a question...
Why don't you use the full file path?
