Hi --- I need to make an outline of a CARBIDE Circular Saw Blade to be cut out on a vinyl cutter. I tried to make one but it turned out ugly. I am not very good with CorelDraw so explain the instructions for a beginner.
Thanks for all your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Graphics in Demand, not a bad idea, I never "Saw" that one coming!
Actually, the blade was modelled a while back, took longer to find it than it would of just to draw a new one. I think George's blade (The Sign Guy) may be the best though, for a vinyl application. Here is a play.....
Assuming you are seeking a silhouette type design, start with a polygon with the number of teeth you want in the blade. Use the shape tool to add and manipulate the nodes into the design you wish. I include the polygon and circle for the arbor hole in this design to cut it you would need to select both and combine.
You can also embelish the disign.
Jack --- You are the man. What you designed will work perfect for the vinyl cutter... it looks fantastic. Thank you so very much for your time, professionalism, and talent!
Have a Great day!!
You're welcome, but I was hoping you would use the opportunity to experiment using the shape tool along with nodes to see how they work on Polygons. Every added node or modification acts on all same facets of the polygon.
Jack --- I am going to work on the Carbide saw blade this weekend. The more time I spend with CorelDraw the more comfortable I get...so much to learn.
I very much appreciate all your help along with all the others who participated.
Any ideas where I can get learning aids to help me along?
Thanks again and keep the GREAT work up1
Hello mr.sharp; It's a LOT easer to leaqrn Corel now than it was 20 years ago, and they have some videos at the Corel.com on the top menu here, and you could go to Foster's web site he has more learning aids than a hound dog has fleas. ( http://www.unleash.com )
