creating trapezoid

Hi im a newbie here and also a new user of corel draw i try to create a pedestrial lane using those rectangles in fig 2.. and i want to reshape it at once..same with square shape and images... i have tried to use free transform but i think it is not the right way to change it.. pls help me.. thanks!!!   • I think you should be able to do this by ...

    • group the rectangles
    • effects > add perspective
    • select the shape tool
    • holding shift and control, drag the top left corner of the group towards the top right corner. You should see the top right corner mirror your movement on the left.
    • Release when you get the degree of perspective you require.

    Also, if you created the stripes as a blend, you may need to arrange > break blend group apart and then ungroup all before you group the objects again. I'm not sure if this will be a problem in X5, but if you apply a perspective direct to the blend group in X6 or X7, you will hit a bug where the perspective fails to mirror properly.

    Here's the result when it works correctly:

    • Hello ayamrhon; It depends if you have a raster or vector to work with. If it is a vector you should be able to ungroup or brake it apart then you can edit each shape separately.
