Sorry, but I can´t remember how to apply objects to a winding path, with regular intervals?
Hey Silvio,
Use new path.
Cheers,
Chris
Edit... you would have to use blend then break it all apart
Hello Chris
Something weird is going on here with this function because I am not able to apply the objects to path. I can not tell if I'm doing something wrong or feature has a problem. Please tell me, step by step, how to proceed because my several attempts were unsuccessful. This is driving me crazy.
Hi Silvio,
Maybe try moving the end node of the path to get it to take. Kinda like the little glitch with the custom envelope tool. I'll take a better look when I get to the computer.

I just tried and I am also unable to apply a group of existing objects to a path.
I can only do so on a blend group.
Btw, if I choose the Blend tool from the Effect menu, there will be an "Apply" button in the docker to apply the blend.
BUut if I choose the Blend tool from the Toolbar, how do I apply the blend? I type in the number of steps, then? Or must I choose one of the presets to begin with?
you have to create a blend between the 2 circles the you map the blend to the path using "New path"
See attached corel file

A group of objects is only one object whe you try to align or other actions. You must ungroup it before to fit to a path

Yes, but it's different than the original question, since Blend creates new objects, not align several objects

I mean a group of objects not an object group.
Just like your initial reply to Silvio, a few objects of circle, triangles, squares, stars, etc.
When I select them and want to distribute them along a path, I can't.
