I am having some serious font issues with X6.2, ever since the last update certain fonts basically don't appear on the documents once they are open, even although they are there in the preview. I've reinstalled the fonts in question, but still nothing. They work in other applications. This is very very frustrating, I've been using Corel since the very first issue and never found anything like this, most issues I've either solved or worked around.
Anyone else having these problems?
On the image below you will see the small squares, this is the size f the object, the dots in a line are the actual words of text. The font(s) in this job is Omnes regular and medium, which are Open Type fonts
Thanks in anticipation
Gordon

The problem is not with 6.2, but a windows update. For now, you'll need to uninstall the windows update. Microsoft is working on a solution.
Many thanks, I don't suppose you know which update as there have been quite a few recently.

KB2753842 from 12.12.12
The one that everybody that has been experiencing what you see, is KB2753842.
Thanks to all for this, I replied before clicking the link to the other thread. All fine now and set to manually install these updates from Windows.
Hope you all have a nice time over the holiday period.

What if my font's have disappeared and I cannot find that update. The only change to my system on 12.12.12 was for an Adobe Flash driver that I manually installed. My fonts have vanished, files are now incomplete... is there another possible update for Windows 7 X64 that could be causing this issue? Help... I'm under the wire.... deadline approaching. Thanks Matt

I think Foster also mentioned that he had a link to a tool to remove the update.
