Maybe someone can shed some light on this....Or is it a math bug?
Hello Mike!
As you can see if you zoom closely, the most inner revolution on every spiral is deformated. This is math problem.
And when you have smaller number of revolutions it became visible.
BTW tool is under Polygon tool drop list.

Valeri, thanks for checking and verifying. Are you able to switch from standard to logarithmic from the property bar? I can't, I need to go to the options under tools!

Switching the spiral type from the property bar works for me in both directions.
What is not possible (at least for me) is to increase the number of revolutions for an already drawn spiral (which is probably as designed).

I can change the spiral type from the property bar before drawing a spiral is what I meant to say, sorry for the confusion. After the spiral has been drawn I cannot change the spiral type of the drawn spiral. I can still change the spiral type for a new spiral though.
Here is a spiral generator one can use until this one is fixed. It is the second one from the list of three. I saved the exe to the desktop and ran it from there. Then drag and drop into Draw, works well

Thank you Mike!
As I understand, you want to change already drawn spiral from one type to another? - This is not possible - Graph Paper and Spiral are made curves, not perfect shapes. I think you know it.
But if you want to change tool from Properties Bar and it is not working - it is probably a bug.

Very cool!
