Hi Guys,
I'm trying to rebuild a logo in CorelDraw, and I'm having troubles with it creating a hole when the object is folded over itself.
Can anyone help me? The curve is closed, and it's one object that loops around like a figure 8. I've attached a photo for you to see what I mean. The top is the original logo, and the bottom is what's happening when I try to fountain fill the curve.
How can I layer an object over itself without it doing that?
Hope someone can help me out!
I would try setting that up as two objects, broken at the 9 o'clock position of the O.
But the gradient fill complicates things, You may need to break it somewhere else to find a place where you can join the two without an obvious colour break, or you may have to use a mesh fill in each half to better control the colour distribution.
I'm going to give that a shot.
Thanks Harry.
Simply because of the gradient, it might actually be easier to break it into three pieces as shown below.
A is light blue.
B & C then have a fairly straightforward gradient.
Hallo,
X6 - look at docker "Objekt Properties" and there on "Fill winding"
I'm thinking like the others, with two or three objects placed as such..
