I write this message for all corel users. In my company i use corel and i use creative suite cs5 for one year and creative CC for one month. Adobe have a grate products but i think there are a lot of programs and one persone can't use all. I find my corel x4 more quickley than illustrator/indesign cc 64 bit. I spend one day for paginate eight pages with illustrator and three hours with Corel. I studies many hours indesign and illustrator but i think almost people have requirement that adobe promotes, it's only a business move. I hope Corel continue to developer this software with this policy and best each distribution. A good graphic using adobe but does not have the ideas in head will never make big plans!!

I use CDR from 2008 and in my opinion as i saw, Corel not invest in cdr developing much. From version x4 i saw some changes ,but not big changes. Only the character formating and the color management are changed, in rest just modified. Export and pdf problems appears in x6 like in x4, no free video tutorials to understand color management in x5, x6 ,CorelDraw masters not handle professional the serious problems like eps exporting or pdf publishing, or the bugs ,they reject all or handle indifferent ,they do not like the criticism :) etc... In graphic design industry (professional print companys) as i saw Adobe products are more preferably.

I export EPS and PDF files daily and haven't had a problem in years.
As for bugs, I find them to be very responsive.
Both are just tools. I happen to like Corel's suite of tools better for the price. Although, if both were the same price I'd still stick with Draw over Illustrator.
Also, I wouldn't want a video tutorial on color management, I prefer written documentation on things like that.

Please visit this link: http://community.coreldraw.com/forums/t/40135.aspx?PageIndex=1 and read all my comments , there i attached my cdr file on my comments ,please download and than export in eps and pdf and than upload here your results. Thanks
I have a lot of examples when pdf not works corectly. As i wrote in other topics about my problem : my clients(from USA, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, FRANCE,BRAZIL) wants eps ,pdf or ai files (cdr excluded, because they don't use cdr) and i don't have a license for Adobe products and i don't use ilegal softwares, i use only CDR for graphic design. With CDR i cannot export eps or publish pdf perfectly. I demonstrated a few exemple(with photos) in coreldraw.com forum when eps/pdf/Ai exporting/publishing/saving not works perfectly from CDR.

I do pdf output to printers daily without issue. I would like to see one of your cdr files that give you an issue. If you cannot upload one here can you email me one at operationsatpamspress.com and I will try it and see what I can find.
No one denies that there are problems sometimes. Unfortunately it is not always possible to please everyone at the same time. Some people want to use CorelDRAW to edit and modify PDFfiles, other people want to use it for open or produce Illustrator files without Illustrator, and other people needs to produce PDF for print or for send to mail. Some people uses CorelDRAW for web, some people uses CorelDRAW for print, some people uses CorelDRAW for drawing, some people uses CorelDRAW for magazines, some people use it for Vehicle Graphics, and a lot more.
X6 open native Ai files better than X4. Far better. On the past, I should export from Illustartor, or save without compression or save as PDF, etc Now the results are better, but of course both programs are differente and have different tools, so not always the result will be the same, but on most files the results are the same Sometimes the Ai file doesn't include the linked files, and sometimes a clip mask is not recognized as "powerclip", sometimes there was several clip mask one inside other... those are common problems. No one think that CorelDRAW is an Illustrator replacement and should work on AI file format, but is very useful if CorelDRAW can open AI files and export as AI, EPS or PDF. I'm not a web designer, so I can't talk about this, but for printing industry, the print and PDF output es almost perfect from CorelDRAW.
Through the years, I compared the results of CorelDRAW, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc, doing the same steps, and percentages are accurate color, and also printed result. Of course, I think whenever possible, should open a file in the native program in which it was created, and the same version,
