How do I create a top view cone shape like below?
Hello MT Studio; You can use the Belve Tool and make a circle the same size as the colored one and make it black, bevel it, ( because of the white stripe it is hard to see a point ) add Transparency to the red, white and blue circle and place it over the black circle and adjust the transparency to what you want.

Hi Jeff/Otto,
I didn't think of adding the shadow layer on top of the two colors. Was just trying to play with the two half circles.
Just when I wonder how to deal with the cone's tip in Jeff's method, Otto's suggestion solves it.
Thanks!!
MT Studio
1. Create a circle and fill with red
2. Click Interactive Fill Tool, Fill Type: conical. Adjust second shade of red as required. Add additional nodes if necessary.
3. Repeat with blue.
4. Power clip blue into a semicircle to overlay the right half of the red circle
5. Create white rectangle and intersect it with a copy of the circle used for the red circle, fill with white and use Interactive Fill Tool with Fill Type: linear
6. Adjust white shading as required and overlay on the blue and red objects.
Here's my result:
