Is possible somehow let's say visit card duplicated 12 times on sheet, by mistake typed a wrong numb. and retype on one to effect all cards?
Step and Repeat works well in some cases like this.
But how you do that, one clone and than duplicate?
The present implementation of step and repeat is not very good. It works only in a linear progression, so it cannot create rows and columns in a single step. It also creates duplicates rather than clones, which means that the duplicates would have to be deleted and recreated every time the original is changed.
Similarly, the clone tool is not optimum for this purpose. Although changes to the master can automatically update the clones, you can only create one clone at a time. There is no one-step way to create rows and columns of clones.
An enhancement to create single function step and repeat which creates rows, columns and clones is needed here.
Thx for explanation, now I understand, I thought there was some secret way to do it!
To sum up ...
The best way to create repeating items like this is to design just one card (with a page size equal to the card size) and use an imposition layout to print it. In this case, there is only one card to design, no object duplication is needed and changes to the design will automatically print in all positions of the imposition. This is method 1 of Ariel's post and is what I recommend for the future.
But for correcting the existing design, where you already have multiple copies, you can probably use edit > find and replace.
