I have a picture (Fig.1) which is a line chart and is saved as "*.emf". However, when opening in CorelDRAW X7, one of its pictures cannot be displayed completely(Fig.2). Its line and graphic border is disappeared.
Could someone help me?
Now, I provided a Google Drive URL to share my file "not_display.zip" (because upload file directly met an error and failed), which contains a *.emf file & a *.pptx file. The *.pptx file is used to generate the *.emf file.
The URL is : This file
Eskimo nailed it. Always use paste as Metafile when bringing vectors into Corel Draw, it even works with Adobe Illustrator
I've had stuff go the other way, too - where "just pasting" didn't produce the desired result, but using Paste Special and then choosing "Picture (Enhanced Metafile)" did work.
Thanks! It worked.
Is this a bug in all versions? If not, I want to change the version for it is a little bit inconvenient.
From my experience, you would probably not get better results with a newer version of CorelDRAW.
If I want to improve a process of this type, then I look at things that I might change earlier in the workflow - starting with where the figure was originally created.
Sometimes other vector formats - e.g., SVG, PostScript, EPS, SVG - can produce better results when imported into CorelDRAW. It depends on the content, how the vector file was created, and how well CorelDRAW works with that particular content.
If I don't need to edit the content, then for printing, a high-quality raster format (e.g., PNG or some other bitmap format) can also produce good results.
