Recently upgraded to X8, however I noticed that a font that I liked the look of and I recall it was in the font list in X7. I did not use in a CorelDraw file, just wrote the style of it down as an option for an upcoming project. It was named "One Stroke" and now that I need to utilize it, it seems to be missing or removed from the font list & playground list? I did not delete or remove any fonts. The font does exist on the internet and it is indeed the style that I recognise, however requires a purchase. Anyone have any insight to why it was dropped, or how to reinstall? Could this be a licencing issue? Thanks!
The fonts that are supplied with X8 are all listed in the Content Exchange Library in Corel Font Manager. The total you are seeing, 1030, are all of the fonts that are available and is the same number for everyone (subscription or perpetual). In terms of the licenses for these fonts, you can find more information on the End User License Agreement here - www.corel.com/eula It will have all the details you need regarding licensing. Thanks!
Ariel said:... The copyright restriction is about the font itself, ie you can't sell those fonts or rename to sell as a different font.
Which is sort of ironic when one considers that many of the supplied fonts are from Bitstream (now owned by MyFonts).
