I open Corel PhotoPaint X8 on my Windows 11 computer. I drag a JPEG image into the program. I then modify the image somehow. I save the JPEG image back to it's original location/name.
At this point, all the permissions on the file's security property page are missing. I cannot view the image, or have any other access to the file.
To regain access to the file, I have to go to the properties of the JPEG image and go to the Security tab, manually edit the permissions, add myself with full access, and apply the properties. At that point I can use the file without any issue.
This has been happening for a while now and it's very frustrating. No other programs on my computer appear to have the same issue.
What could have happened, and how do I fix it?
