Exporting to .EPS

I exportet some graphics from one file to several files, and did as I always do. Exporting just the objects.

All of the EPS files are empty when opening them. The first Image under dosent work to export, the secound image wherer the text is senteretd to the page works.

Do I have to senter all the graphics now before I export it? I dident have to do this before.

Selecting pscript 2 or 3 dosent change anything. When exporting page, the object is centeret to the page when opening the eps file.

When exporting the page under with the text not centered, I get some of the graphics when importing the eps back.

<-- exporting this. gives this wehen importing -->

  • Okay, lets start from scratch select what you want to export as eps. Doesn't matter where on the page/workspace that it is. Hit cntrl+e (export) choose file name and location, choose eps and selected only, hit Export. Next window, Uncheck "Convert spot colors to", "Preview image" to none, "Export text as" curves, PostScript level 2 is fine. Under the Advanced tab you don't need jpg compression. Hit ok.
You don't open eps files you "Import" them. When you hit import select your file then hit import and you have the option to place at mouse click or if you just hit enter the eps will be placed at the center of your page.
