I theoretically updated to CorelDRAW 8.1. I had propblems saying it wouldn't install because another installation is in progress. At one point, I disabled the "msiserver" program running ... showing up in Task Manager, and I was allowed to install the update once the task was ended and after a restart. When I tried to run CDX8.1, I got "unable to load VGCore.dll.error code.126" and it won't open (obviously).
Anyone have any ideas? I tried to REPAIR CDX8 through the UNINSTALLER, but get the same message saying another installation is going on.
This is an old thread, but I recently had the issue. CorelDraw nor CorelPhoto Paint would load and gave me this error. I went to Microsoft's site and downloaded all the C++ Redistributable packages for x64 and x86. I installed them all, rebooted my computer, and Corel began working again.
I have also tried this solutiona, but it was not possible to install, i got the message C++ file is already installed. Any other idea?
