I theoretically updated to CorelDRAW 8.1. I had propblems saying it wouldn't install because another installation is in progress. At one point, I disabled the "msiserver" program running ... showing up in Task Manager, and I was allowed to install the update once the task was ended and after a restart. When I tried to run CDX8.1, I got "unable to load VGCore.dll.error code.126" and it won't open (obviously).
Anyone have any ideas? I tried to REPAIR CDX8 through the UNINSTALLER, but get the same message saying another installation is going on.
I can see it is a 7 year old problem, but I am facing with it now while installing Coredl Draw Graphics Suite 2021. Error message is very similar, I found this topic on google search: Unable to load VGCore. Error Code: 126
I am not able to open Corel 2021 at all, and also tried to open existing .cdr file, and faced with the same issue.
Can you help me?

I had something similar. This was due to installing CGS on my E: drive and there was an assumption in the program that it was on C:.
I can't remember which version this was....
