Where can I find the CMYK codes for colors like Prussian Blue?

Hello CorelDraw Forum;

Question: Is there any place where I can find the correct CMYK numbers for Prussian Blue?

I have got a customer that wants his logo in the colors Prussian Blue. I want to make sure I get the right color codes.

Hi

I would suggest you buy or look for, a Color guide from let say Pantone. Expensive I know, but check their guide. They have CMYK and RGB numbers attached to each color swatch on their paper printed colour guides.

Another thing G I would suggest, is to open Color manager in CorelDRAW or Photo-Paint. And open a few of the color palettes in their, and see if you can hoover various color swatches showing the color names.

Or go on the Internet, and write in search Prussian Blue CMYK

I have got a Pantone color book. I don't see CMYK values for the colors.

Will CorelDraw convert Pantone color codes to CMYK?

Two way for this, apply the pantone surface on object then switch from palettes to cmjn : cursor is on the closest cmjn match, but to convert just add 1% to a color then apply it to your surface.
Or let it with Pantone reference and just check "convert non-quadri to CMJN" when exporting print file to pdf, same thing as upper but you can keep the native colors on your cdr file, and the option grant you to not forget some rgb files in pdf.

Warning : Pantone coated or uncoated are mix of pure non-cmjn inks, so some colors haven't their equivalent in cmjn, especialy the dark browns and some dark greens wich are very tricky to print (avoid them in logo if the brand cannot always print with pantone ink, same for metallic, fluo inks). The old pantone swatches book haven't the process (cmjn) color printed on, check one "Pantone 4-color Process", there is two swatches book for coated and uncoated papers.
