SAVING A FILE IN A DIFFERENT EXTENSION

Is it possible to save a file in Corel Draw X8 as a JPEG, GIF, or TIFF?

I'm new to Corel Draw and here in the shop as an unofficial Graphic Designer and have been quickly learning as I go.

A lot of our customers ask that my work be sent in emails to them as these listed types of files and I have not quite figured out how yet.

Thank you,

  • You can, by exporting your Draw document. However, when you export a vector drawing as a jpeg, you are rasterizing (converting to bitmap) and will not retain the ability to edit the vector drawing, later. So, save a copy to your system as a *.cdr (DRAW) document and also export a copy to a jpeg, tiff, etc, for the customer.
