When drawing with the freehand line tool, at the completion of a line, it is automatically selected.The nodes are often in the way of what would be the starting point for the next line I'd like to draw.Is there an easy way to prevent this?
I don't know a way to have it automatically deselect the curve after drawing it, but I have used a macro assigned to a keyboard shortcut to get a one-keystroke deselect.

Once upon a time, the Esc key worked for that in CorelDraw, and it still does for many tools - but not for the freehand tool. At the moment, I have the "`" key assigned to the deselection macro.
