CorelDraw X8 - Cutting Master Plug-In, takes forever to insert reg marks

I have had the same problem with cutting master. My fix was to assign layers to the file. Make any layer you are not going to be contour cutting invisible in the object manager docker. Once all you can see is your cut paths, get out of the object manager docker (I dont know why this helps, but it does) I typically will go back to the Alignment docker. Select your cut paths, then run your registration marks with CM3. I think what is happening is Cutting master is trying to process everything in the file rather than just what you want to cut. With the object manager active, even with layers turned off, it seems to run though everything as well. Thats why I close the docker first. If that doesnt help, try copying your cut lines only into a new window, add registration marks, then bring the rest of your file over once the registration marks are in place. Good luck.
