CorelDraw offline

Good morning everybody,

I'm a new user with CorelDraw X8 Home & Student but I'm using CorelDraw Select Edition since about 1998.

I want to install it on an offline-machine. Is ist possible to activate and use it without internetconnection?

And for another machine: Where can I log off my account? I don't want to have pemanent connection to Corel.

Hello tow3; How would you active it without being Online ? Most of us here don't use H&S ver..

Don't think you can use it without activating. Try installing without internet connection and see what happens.
Have no idea how it works with the H&S version though.

From X8 (or was it X7?) and up you can not sign out any more, but why should you?
When you install you activate the copy, that's it, and you should be able to use it afterwards also without an internet connection.
You may eventually get a message after a while, telling you to verify again, but I'm not sure.

Hello George,
Corel offers offline activation for some products. If this fails for H&S I could connect the machine, that I want to use offline, temporarily to the internet by using the mobile hotspot of my laptop. But the H&S-machine is only used for digitization of slides and film so usually there is no internet needed. If I need updates or something like that I could connect via hotspot every few weeks.
And on another machine I dont want to bei connected to corel every time. Coreldraw Select Edition could also work offline.

Hello Ronny, even this was the question: Does H&S X8 need a pemanent connection? Thanks for your answare that here is no way to sign out. I will ask corel for offline acitivation of H&S.
