Can we make backgrounds like this in CorelDraw? If so, anyone have a tutorial or video for me to learn? Much appreciated!!

I realize that we can bring in photos like Mike has mentioned and that is a wonderful option. But I would like to be able to develop a background solely by the use of tools within CorelDraw like brushes, etc to do it. For the main reason of file size alone. I've scanned in images, imported photos and end up with huge file sizes and want to avoid that.
I'm sure it's possible. Are you wanting it to be total vector? You might begin by looking at some of the grunge-like backgrounds that come with your version of CorelDraw. You can take them apart by ungrouping (since they are vectors), and get an idea of how they layered it together. Then come back and ask questions if you need help on specifics.
